Kenwood KDC-MP438U AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA/USB In Dash Receiver
The Kenwood KDC-MP438U comes with a built-in 4-channel MOSFET amplifier with 22 watts RMS (50 peak) per channel. The CD player plays music CD, CD-R, and CD-RW, plus CD`s with MP3, WMA, and AAC music files, features a front USB port input to plug in a thumb drive, portable hard drive or an iPod directly (no additional cable required anymore) or other USB storage device, plus a FRONT AUX Miniplug. The new USB port supports USB Direct Control.The radio will display artist names and track information on the faceplate while supplying power to the compatible player. It features a detachable face, bass, treble, and midrange controls, 3 sets of preamp outputs (2.5V), supreme audio processing makes compressed MP3 and WMA files sound better, iPod-ready (KCA-iP100 is optional and will handle in-vehicle heat beter than the original iPod cable), satellite radio-ready (SIRKEN Combo required), CD changer controls for Kenwood CD changers manufactured after 1999.
