Kenwood DNX-9140 AM/FM/DVD/CD Navigation BT & Voice Command
The Kenwood eXcelon DNX-9140 is the top of the line unit in vehicle audio-video applications. In addition to the built-in navigation, it comes loaded with integrated BlueTooth phone interface (no additional module required), 5.1 surround system and 2 USB inputs!
New in this model is Voice Control, which enables hands-free operation of navigation and audio/video functions. Basic commands for selection of source, volume, nav functions, monitoring of rear view camera, content selection fro iPod etc., Satellite radio, etc.

It features an amazing graphic user interface, that is fully customizable. It has a built-in Navigation System as well as AM/FM tuner, single-disc DVD and CD player that also plays DVD-R/RW, CD-R, and CD-RW discs with MP3 or WMA files, Double DIN-size for in-dash mounting. A full-function remote control is included. The LCD screen is 6.95" wide. Maximum power is 50 watts x 4 through the integrated power amplifier (25W RMS x 4), and comes with 4 PreOuts (1 front, 1 rear, 1 subwoofer, 1 center channel)(5.0V) to add amplifiers. Includes 5.1 surround with Dolby ProLogic II and Dolby Digital. The LCD screen features Touchscreen Control and comes with a beautiful GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE (GUI) and 3 customizable wallpapers so you can add your vehicle`s logo or other image. It has 2 sets of Audio-Video input (RCA Rear), 1 A/V output (RCA Rear), and 1 rear view camera input (RCA Rear). It is satellite ready (optional module and SIRIUS or XM subscription required for service). The unit comes complete in the box with all wire harnesses, in-dash head unit, manuals, remote, GPS antenna and USA/Canada Maps. In addition to the optional satellite radio module, there are other optional modules you can add like TV Tuner (digital tuner under development), XM Satellite Radio/Real Traffic, etc. And now you can connect your iPod Video to the USB port to listen as well as watch videos on the screen with the optional KCA-iP301V adaptor! Use the 2 available USB ports to connect any USB storage device with MP3 or WMA files as well!

The built-in navigation system offers turn-by-turn map and voice guidance guided by GPS satellite antenna, comes with built-in road maps of the United States and Canada with over 5 million points of interest. The navigation system has voice prompts offer turn-by-turn guidance, it is compatible with Clear Channel Traffic Message Channel and XM Satellite Radio traffic information services (subscriptions and extra components required), has multi-destination route planning and automatic rerouting for missed turns. The display offers 2-D and 3-D map views, comes with an intregrated trip computer, a SD card slot for map updates; no more looking for and purchasing expensive DVD`s! 12-channel WAAS-enabled GPS receiver.

Navigation Firmware updates are available on the Garmin website. Updates are released regularly, to keep up to date, please visit the website regularly.

International buyers: Please note that ALL of the car DVD Receivers sold in the US will ONLY PLAY REGION 1 DVD. Most of these DVD units can be changed to your region, so please ask about the service. We charge a small fee to cover the modification fee plus the shipping to/back for the unit to the tech center that performs the modifications. The service also includes the modification so that it will receive the correct radio frequencies of FM (87.5MHz-108.0MHz range in .05MHz steps) and AM (531kHz-1611kHz range in 9kHz steps) as used in Europe and other parts of the world. Units that come with integrated navigation (DNX models) can also be modified for DVD Region and Tuner frequencies, but the maps will need to be purchased separately. Please visit the Garmin website to find out if there are available maps for your specific country, if you do not see them, ask them about it, they may be available. We do not include any other country`s maps besides the USA/Canada maps that come with the units with the modification, only the DVD region and Tuner are included.
